Smith Brothers Services Ltd

The Challenge

Smith Brothers Services Ltd is a first-class, family run haulage and commercial vehicle business. William Stobart, Director of Smith Brothers Services Ltd, had visited many meeting rooms where his experience from an information sharing perspective had been poor and, at times, frustrating.

Therefore, he wanted to ensure that Smith Brothers’ own meeting rooms were adapted to allow staff and visitors to have the connectivity they needed to collaborate effectively. He wanted his meeting rooms to offer a user experience that was eye-catching and innovative.

The Solution

After completing a site survey, our team of AV experts set out to create the perfect hardware, software and integration system for the Smith Brothers Services’ HQ.

We manufactured a number of commercial and interactive displays and installed these in the reception, staff areas and three meeting rooms.

An essential part of the project was the delivery of a simple user-interface, to be accessed via a tablet that allowed full control of the displays at the touch of a button from any location in the building.

This allowed staff and visitors to easily connect their own devices to the display screens in the meeting rooms, creating a collaboration space for everyone.

The digital signage displays in the staff areas and reception are used to broadcast news and information about the business to visitors. This, too, can be controlled from any location to give the business full control and flexibility of the content.

The Outcome

Smith Brothers Services Ltd now has a complete audio-visual solution designed to fit their needs. The business can now view any source, whether it be a laptop or tv source, on any of the displays throughout the head office, This solution has given them much more flexibility in meetings.

William Stobart is happy with the solution as it has enabled his staff and visitors to quickly connect their devices to multiple displays so that meetings can continue without distractions or delays.

The flexibility that this solution has created means that the business has improved their collaboration and connectivity.

Red Arrow Distribution

The challenge

Red Arrow Electrical Distribution is a manufacturer and distributor of electrical and lighting products. The company moved to new premises and were undertaking a refurbishment of the reception area to provide their channel partners and prospective partners with a wow factor that would demonstrate the direction in which the company was moving.

The Solution

Our team of AV experts met the team at Red Arrow to discuss their ideas of how technology can demonstrate the values of their growing business whilst also making them stand out from the crowd.

We discussed various options from digital signage displays to interactive tables but we agreed that an LED video wall was the perfect tool for the job.

We manufactured and installed a 3360mm x 1920mm (16:9) P2.5mm Pitch LED video wall for Red Arrow Electrical Distribution. This LED video wall is the focal point of the new reception area where guests and partners are greeted.

Red Arrow now have full remote control of the LED video wall through multiple source inputs and content management system (CMS). They can schedule visitor and client specific content to provide them with a welcome to remember. The CMS also allows Red Arrow to create content, schedule what is displayed on the video wall and instantly update the content as and when is needed.

CPASE Health Club

The Challenge

CPASE is a high-end health club in Cheshire. The team at CPASE wanted technology to match their ethos whilst also creating the wow factors for customers.

They also wanted a way to control all their new technology and digital content from one place, so that it was easy to update with the latest offers and news.

The client needed an easy, user-friendly way to update all their content so that they could create eye-catching advertising to keep up with their project goals and improve the customer journey. They also wanted to incorporate audio into the site, again with the ability to change the content and volume instantly.

The Solution

Our team of AV experts completed a site survey of the health club and created a plan to manufacture and install a full audio-visual solution throughout the health club. We manufactured and installed a large indoor LED video wall in the main gym, a 16-screen video wall in the spin room and a number of commercial digital signage displays in the changing rooms, breakout area, meeting spaces and breakout areas. We also installed audio throughout the site.

Our in-house digital signage team created bespoke digital signage content for CPASE. The content displays gym news, live weather, gym events and a live Sky TV stream. The team at CPASE can update this content through the content management system (CMS) on a tablet.

All audio and visual content is fully controlled through one tablet device. The health club is split into zones on the CMS so the client can easily control the content playing in each room at any time.

The Outcome

CPASE now has a fully bespoke AV solution throughout their health club. They have full control of their digital signage and audio across the club, all controlled from one central point.

The flexibility the solution gives CPASE means that they can instantly update customers with news. For example, if a fitness class changes room at short notice, they can update the content on the displays to tell customers of the room change.

The AV technology fits in well with the high-end finish of the health club. The displays help to create the wow-factor for customers when they enter and use the gym and spa facilities. The gym can also create more revenue through the use of the displays to advertise products and additional service they provide.

All of this new technology means that CPASE can now adapt to their customers’ need and wants to create a better customer experience and journey.
